DIdn't YOU USED TO BE ACROSS THE STREET?

Yes we did! Our shop used to be at 126 N Larchmont. In January of 2021, we moved across the street to our current, much more spacious location.

What's your return policy? 

Purchases can be exchanged for store credit or another item of similar value within 60 days. Receipt required. Sale books, damaged goods, special orders, and journals not eligible for returns.​

what if the book I WANT ISN'T IN STOCK?

Most likely, we can order the title for you. The book will arrive at the store and be ready for pick up in 3-10 business days.

How can I submit a Special Order?

Feel free to drop by the store, give us a call, or submit a message through the website. We'll need the following information:

  • Title of the book (and author name if possible)

  • Your first and last name

  • Your phone number

 

We will give you a call when the order has arrived and is ready for pick up. 

Do I have to pay for my Special Order in advance?

You can pay for your book when you pick up.

If any of the following apply,  however, we ask that you pay for your order in advance: 

  • The book costs over $50 

  • You are specifically ordering a hardcover version of a book when it is available in paperback

  • You are specifically ordering a large print book

  • The book is not returnable to our distributors

CAN I Get an order shipped Direct to me?

Yes! We can ship a special order directly to your home or specified address. We do, however, require that you pay for the book and shipping at the time of the order.

can I host a film or photoshoot at chevalier's?

We do occasionally allow filming on-site. Please send us an email with the project and filming details at chevaliersbooks@gmail.com

ARE YOU HIRING RIGHT NOW?
