Matthew Weiner Presents
Heather, The Totality, in conversation with Jenji Kohan

Chevalier's is thrilled to announce that Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Matthew Weiner will be joining us to read from his first novel, Heather, The Totality. Set in Manhattan's Upper East Side, the book revolves around the social climbing Breakstone family, their daughter Heather, and a psychopathic construction worker. Matthew Weiner writes, "I walked past this beautiful schoolgirl going into a building under construction, and I saw a man working there stare at her with threatening intensity. I don’t have any daughters, but what I wrote down was, 'What if her father saw that?'"

Matthew Weiner is the winner of nine Emmys (seven for Mad Men, two for The Sopranos), as well as three Golden Globes. In 2011 he was listed as both one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World" (Time) and one of the "21 Brave Thinkers" (Atlantic Monthly). He is the writer and director of the 2013 comedy, Are You Here, and will be returning to television to work on the Amazon series, The Romanoffs.
